General information

Since 1988, AICO is a pioneering specialized company:
– in the provision of energy saving solutions, in the hotel and industrial field with projects such as: industrial refrigeration, air conditioning, geothermal systems, solar heating systems, cogeneration systems, energy recovery, heat pumps, photovoltaics & “Net metering”, water treatment & water management systems, automated control systems.
– in the design and construction of composite and metallic buildings, with an emphasis on food industries
– in the construction and renovation of buildings and professional spaces with know-how from a variety of studies and installations such as: bank stores, supermarket chains, office buildings, residences, etc.

AICO has established a quality management system that is in conformance with the International Standard ELOT EN ISO 9001: 2015, an environmental management system with the International Standard ELOT EN ISO 14001: 2015 and an occupational health and safety management system with the International Standard ELOT EN ISO 45001: 2018 and has a field of activity that includes the design, study and construction of environmentally friendly installations.

Photovoltaic Systems

1988.The beginning in saving energy

The AICO company is founded and is active in the field of electromechanical projects and focuses on industrial cooling, central air conditioning systems and energy saving.

1997. Extension to the study and construction of metal buildings

The AICO group’s second company, Michanodomiki, is founded, with its main activity being the design and construction of composite and metal structures for food buildings, hotel complexes and more.

2006. Investing in energy production

Ecoenergia is founded as one of the first companies in Greece to study and construct photovoltaic projects. Later, it will become ABB’s official partner for photovoltaic inverters by providing technical support to ABB customers across Northern Greece . Today, Ecoenergia has more than 250 installations of small and large photovoltaic plants.

2019. And we go on…

AICO SA has a special department for studies and constructions, consisting of specialized engineers, Moreover knowing the ever increasing demands for energy saving systems, always the best technological solutions. AICO SA maintains a research and development department aiming at the constant improvement of its services and products.
