General information

Founded in 2018, National Energy is a U.S. backed, privately funded corporate group active in the renewable energy sector, uniquely positioned to realize large-scale investments and strategic acquisitions in solar PV, wind, and energy storage technologies. National Energy focuses on taking early-stage renewable energy projects through the development process to long-term asset ownership. Its mission is to develop, finance, operate and maintain a minimum of 5GWp of renewable energy assets in the next five (5) years.

National Energy has already established a significant footprint in Greece since first entering the market in 2018, by holding a portfolio of 400 MWp of solar PV and wind assets, part of which is currently operational and also under construction. Additionally, it has secured a pipeline of further 3GWp of assets currently under development.

National Energy is headquartered in London and is led and governed by an international team with deep industry and cross-border experience. The company’s commitment to the Greek market has been signaled by the launch of long-term offices in Marousi, Athens, to support a rapidly growing team of experts across engineering, legal, finance and asset management drawn principally from the local talent pool. National Energy works with reputable developers and experienced contractors and adheres to the codes of HSE standards to promote the safety, whilst maintaining best engineering practices.
