General information

The world is determined to achieve carbon neutrality, with more than 130 countries and regions having already pledged their green targets. To help customers go carbon neutral, Huawei Digital Power Technologies Co., Ltd. (Huawei Digital Power for short) is committed to integrating digital and power electronics technologies, developing clean power, and enabling energy digitalization to drive energy revolution for a better, greener future.

Huawei Digital Power covers several business domains: Smart PV, FusionCharge, DriveONE, Data Center Facility, and Site Power Facility. With approximately 10,000 employees, 60% of whom are focused on R&D, Huawei Digital Power serves more than three billion people across more than 170 countries and regions. Currently, we have 12 R&D centers in China, Europe, and Asia Pacific, owning over 1700 patents.

By leveraging its advantages in digital and power electronics technologies, Huawei Digital Power integrates cutting-edge innovations such as watt, heat, energy storage, cloud, and AI technologies. We focus on clean power generation, green ICT power infrastructure, and transportation electrification, and collaborate with industry partners to accelerate carbon neutrality:

  • Clean power generation: We help create new power systems that primarily rely on renewable energy.
  • Mobility electrification: We are positioned as DriveONE and FusionCharge solution provide and provide better consumer driving experience and higher-lever safety in EVs. For example, our full liquid-cooling ultrafast charging solution achieves the charging speed of “one kilometer in one second”. This builds a high-quality and sustainable smart charging network, and accelerates the wide adoption of EVs.
  • Green ICT power infrastructure: We help build green, low-carbon, and intelligent data centers and communications networks, enabling each watt to support more computing power and connections. Ultimately, ICT power infrastructure will become an engine for the green digital economy.

By the end of June 2023, Huawei Digital Power has already helped customers generate 845.5 billion kWh of green power, saved 35.5 billion kWh of electricity, and reduced CO2 emissions by 400 million tons, which is equivalent to planting 540 million trees.
